Contraindications and precautions
Even if the wellness massage is not therapeutic, precautions and contraindications should be taken into account. Depending on these, the massage can be adapted according to the areas and pathologies. Each person is different, if in doubt do not hesitate to seek medical advice :
- Fever,
- Infectious diseases,
- Inflammation of the skin or joints,
- Recent fractures/sprains,
- Muscle or ligament tear,
- Surgical intervention less than 6 months,
- Pregnant woman, the first 3 months massage is not recommended,
- Serious pathologies (cancer, leukemia, etc.),
- Cardiac disorders (unstabilized hypertension, atherosclerosis, etc.),
- Circulatory disorders (phlebitis, thrombosis, etc.),
- Osteoporosis, spondylitis,
- Untreated diabetes,
- Skin diseases (contagious)
